World Ocean Day

World Ocean Day is used to celebrate by lots of people to gather every knowledge about the Ocean and also to save it for the balancing a better life on the planet of the Earth. World Ocean Day is celebrated to make the people aware about the effects and causes of the Oceans when it is spoiled by the people. People come together on the World Ocean Day to get every type of knowledge regarding the effects and Functions of the Oceans on the daily life of the people.

Ocean is a made up of Full of Water where many types of various Sea animals are living and also other animals which live on the Earth and the Water live there in the Ocean. There are various Fishes, Tortoises, Snakes and other animals which are found there in the Ocean. Ocean is made up of Thousands of animals as well as their Species which are living in the Ocean from many years. Ocean makes the people to cooperate with lots of water living animals by which many of the people goes there to see the Natural Beauty of the Ocean.

Ocean gives the ability tom lots of the animals to survive in the Ocean without any issue to them. Ocean carries lots of animals which live on the other animals for their food to survive in the Ocean. For saving the Ocean it is the duty of every people on the Earth for protecting the Ocean for making equal balance on the Earth. World Ocean Day makes the people to come together to create a hope across all the people in the World to save the Ocean by various ideas and plans.

People should always focus on the Ocean which is our Natural Environment for protecting it from every harmful causes and effects. It is celebrated on the 8th June by the United Nations of the General Assembly in the year 2008 to solve all the problems of the Oceans in order to maintain an ecological balance in the Environment. It was First Started to celebrate on the 8th June in the year 1992 in the Rio de Janeiro at the country of Brazil. But after that it was celebrated from National to International Level with the Joining of the Ocean Network of the World and the Ocean Project.

People on the Occasion of the World Ocean Day is used to do many of the activities like the Ocean Cleanliness, Festivals of the Film, Contests of the art, Activities of the Education and also protecting many of the Water animals and creatures which includes many of the other activities for people’s awareness. Government organizes many of the Themes for the increasing the awareness to the people. For the saving of the Ocean, a Non- profit International Organization of the United States for launching an high level Project of the Ocean to save the Ocean. Network of the World Ocean was launches in the month of the November in the year 2002 which have it’s office at Nausicaa.

Celebration of the World Ocean Day

World Ocean Day is used to celebrate by lots of people in the World to get each and every knowledge about the protection and it’s effects on the World. It is reported that around 3/4th of the World is surrounded by the Water and only ¼ of the World is surrounded by the Land. People are more reluctant today to save the Ocean from many of the harmful effects by which every people are used to do it for their own benefit. Ocean has lots of creatures into the water for their own living.

These creatures survive on the other living being for their own food. They make their own house in the Ocean and live till their death. People are used to kill these types of creatures for their own food. They use nets and other things to get them catch in their net for killing and eating them. People go from their ships to catch up many of the creatures situated inside the Ocean.  People are reluctant to catch up many of the beautiful as well as large number of creatures and their species to get them every type of creatures for their own food and also for various tastes.

People today are killing lots of creatures and animals for their food. But they are unaware that they are distracting the Nature Balance by killing lots of important creatures for their own living. People are used to make many of the ideas and plans to make the creatures and animals to survive better in the Ocean for the better impact on the Environment. It is very not easy to save the creatures from many of the harmful and dangerous attacks by lots of people. But to save many of important creatures, many people come across the many creatures and animals to save their lives from the dangerous people. There are many people who are reluctant to save much of the creatures by making them to live in their house.

There are many types of events and programmes done on the World Ocean Day to encourage many of the people to participate for saving the Ocean. There are many events organized like the snacks distribution, specimen collection, cleanup beach with families and friends, knowledgeable booths, distribution of the Posters, Bay beach Departure, scavenger hunt, tug of war, discussion, display of museum, protection as well as conservation activities, educational as well as interactive activities, organizing award ceremonies to the teachers and Students, Class Presentations, Colour Contest, Online display of the related Videos, Fossil Hunting Walks, Photo Contests, Distribution of T-shirts of the Ocean Day among the Youths, Touch Tanks and many more events. Ocean is the important part of the Nature and the life of the people and also to keep the ecological balance on the earth. Ocean is very important as it is the major source of various healthy medicines and also foods.

World Ocean Day gives the people to celebrate it together for whether, Climate Change, Oxygen and Food balance with many types of economic, social as well as environmental profits. There are many activities which are used to aware the people for protecting the Ocean and they are as follows :-

Save and protect the Water resources for the future use.

People should save the Ocean by protecting it from any harmful things, Garbage or any waste products pouring by the people into the Water.

People should make less use of the pesticides and fertilizers for stopping the damage of the Ocean.

People should use many of the various methods which are alternative for the pest control and also they should dispose many of the dangerous and hazardous wastes of the House.

People should get knowledge and also follow all the pollution and waste control practices.

Theme for the World Ocean Day in the year 2015 was “Healthy Earth and also Healthy Ocean”.

Theme for the World Ocean Day in the year 2014 was “Every people have the power to save the Ocean”.

Theme for the World Ocean Day in the year 2013 was “People with togetherness have the energy to save the Ocean”.

Theme for the World Ocean Day in the year 2012 “Youth : Changes for the next wave”.

Theme for the World Ocean Day in the year 2011 was “Youth : Change for the another wave”.

Theme for the World Ocean Day in the year 2010 was “Life of the Ocean : Save your Favorite BY Choosing your Favorite”.

So it is very important for the people to come together to protect the Natural Environment and Oceans for the development of the Country.
